The Heart of the Sands is live on Amazon

Book 3 of The Gods Within: uploaded yesterday.

Yesterday, my publisher completed the last little bits of formatting, then uploaded The Heart of the Sands to Amazon. Based on recommendations from readers who viewed the preliminary cover art here, I made a few changes to get to the final cover design. I sincerely thank all of you who provided input. I also really appreciate the work that Steve Himes and the team at Telemachus Press put into this project. Their meticulous attention to detail is incredible. And I shouldn't forget Durelle Kurlinski, my copy editor; she did her usual superb job of identifying all my crossed i's and dotted t's.

For this book I employed the services of a content editor, something I could finally afford to do only because my books are selling well. Kelley Eskridge, of Sterling Editing, reviewed the manuscript in detail, and helped me identify holes in the plot, things that just didn't work, characters that weren't acting in character, all that kind of stuff. In short, she's almost a writing coach, and deserves a lot of credit for the quality of this manuscript. I intend to make use of her services on everything I write.

The last few months have been a real push to get this book out, and I hope you readers out there enjoy it. As always, I appreciate any feedback you've got.

Sometime in the next week or two I'll post some information on the three books I'm working on now.
